Simple Test Procedure

  1. Have the donor provide a urine specimen directly into the test cup, observing the minimum fill line.
  2. Securely recap the cup immediately after collection and place it on a clean, level surface.
  3. Observe the temperature strip between 2 and 4 minutes after collection. A temperature reading of 90°F to 100°F is generally considered acceptable; other readings may indicate a specimen-integrity concern.
  4. Peel back the label to view the drug test strips and adulteration panel.
  5. Read and interpret the drug-screen results at 5 minutes according to the product instructions for use.
  6. Interpret the adulteration panel according to the manufacturer’s color chart and instructions for use.

How to Interpret Results

Urine drug test result interpretation guide A positive result displays one control line. A negative result displays both control and test lines, including a faint test line. An invalid result has no control line. C T POSITIVE C T NEGATIVE ** Faint line C T INVALID
Drug-screen result interpretation: A positive result shows one control line (C). A negative result shows both the control line (C) and test line (T); a faint test line is still negative. A result is invalid when no control line appears.

Important: No meaning is attributed to Test Line (T) color, intensity, or width. A faint test line is still interpreted as a negative result. This device provides preliminary screening results only; follow applicable policies and procedures for confirmation of presumptive positive results. Interpret adulteration results only according to the product instructions for use and manufacturer color chart.
